About

My name is Daniel Mossfield, and I am a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia. Currently I am serving in two placements: one a small, traditional, rural parish; and the other a progressive, fresh-expressions church plant in a large regional town.

I am fascinated about the dialogue these two, very distinctive, placements force me to have internally each day, and have begun this blog as a way of exploring the ideas that arise from this conversation.

I also have a deep passion for the sacramentality of preaching, and thinking about what it means to proclaim the Living Word in a secular age of ecological crisis.
